It's hard to know where to start with this one, as our 0114 design means so so much to us, but we'll give it a go.
0114 is a number that has become synonymous with Sheffield. In case you didn't know, here in the U.K we have a system whereby in order to call a landline phone from a mobile, you have to put the correct prefix in for the location of that phone. Manchester has 0161, Liverpool has 0151, our neighbour Derbyshire has 01332, but nothing quite hits like 0114 (for us at least).

The number first picked up some notoriety back when Arctic Monkeys were first breaking through onto the U.K music scene. After some early chaotic gigs, the band rapidly gained fans and recognition for their fast-paced and gritty style, with their lyrics reflecting the experience of youths growing up in Sheffield at the time. During this breakout phase, the drummer of the band Matt Helders decided to put 0114 on his drum skin using masking tape and from then on, the number has only acquired more notoriety and is synonymous with Sheffield.

For us, it's a lot more than a number. The design evokes memories of everything from growing up here, to going to gigs here, to the trips to the Peak District and everything in between. The beauty of the design is therefore in the personal memories it sparks for you. Whether you spent time in Sheffield as a student or you've lived here your whole life, we hope it inspires those great memories within you, be it the first time or the hundredth time that you put on your 0114 T-Shirt.
